Clinical Interests
Dr. Hunt's clinical practice clinical interests include the conservative management of all musculoskeletal conditions with a special interest in young adult hip, spine, female athletes, and women’s health. This includes pregnancy related problems and other physiological changes such as osteoporosis, as they occur throughout the life cycle. Dr. Hunt is the co-director of the Medical Program for Performing Artists, focusing on musculoskeletal disorders for artists, and a team physician for Saint Louis Atheltica.
Research Interests
Dr. Hunt has focused her research interests on the young adult hip . She is involved in a multi-disciplinary young adult hip group of physicians who meet bi-monthly.
Background
Dr. Hunt earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Northwestern University Medical School, where she was involved with the medical program for the performings arts. Dr. Hunt completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal medicine and interventional spine care in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. Her practice focuses on interventional spine care, women's muscuoloskeletal health and performing arts medicine. Dr. Hunt sees patients at the Center for Advanced Medicine on the Washington University medical campus, the Sports and Orthopaedic Center in West St. Louis county and the Center for Women's Wellness at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
