Dr. Strelzow specializes in elbow and hand trauma, trigger finger and nerve compressions and injuries, arthritis of the hand and wrist and tendon conditions of the upper extremity. He has a keen interest in acute and reconstructive problems about the elbow, forearm and wrist.

Research Interests

Dr. Strelzow has research interests in patient-reported outcomes related to elbow trauma, shoulder trauma and total elbow replacements. He is actively involved in clinical research revolving around trauma of the upper extremity, patient-reported health measures in upper extremity surgery and quality and equity of care delivery.

Background

Dr. Strelzow earned his medical degree and residency in orthopedic surgery from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada. He completed an upper extremity and microvascular fellowship at the University of Western Ontario Hand and Upper Limb Center in London, Ontario, Canada. He also completed an orthopedic trauma fellowship at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh from Edinburgh, Scotland.
