Orthopedic Care During COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

We're Here for You.

Our global and local communities are all impacted by the effects of COVID-19. We want you to know we’re still here to help. Whether you are suffering from a sports injury, hip pain, back pain or any musculoskeletal condition, we’re here when you need us.

We’re Minimizing Risk With Changes

To protect the health of our patients, providers and staff, we made some changes:

  • NEW! You can now be seen by an orthopedic specialist virtually. These virtual visits can be conducted through your phone or computer. Our patient care team will walk you through the process when you schedule your appointment.
  • Before making any appointment, all patients will be asked questions about symptoms and possible exposure, including travel history and contact with anyone suspected or diagnosed with COVID-19.
  • Appointment times are spread farther apart to reduce time spent in the waiting room.
  • Our visitor policy has changed. Adult patients may have only one additional person accompany them to an office visit. Pediatric patients may have two additional people/caregivers accompany them to an office visit.
  • Upon arrival to our office, patients and visitors will have their temperature taken and will be asked about symptoms, exposure and travel history.
  • Waiting room furniture is spaced farther apart and cleaned after use.
  • Our offices are regularly cleaned and sanitized.

Orthopedic Injury Clinic

The Orthopedic Injury Clinic remains open to treat patients with URGENT* orthopedic needs. If you have a non-urgent orthopedic need, please call 314-514-3500 to schedule a routine visit.

NEW: Call Before Your Visit
In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of our patients, staff and community, please call 314-514-1642 to schedule your same-day injury clinic visit.

Please DO NOT come to the Injury Clinic if:

  1. You are experiencing flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath.
  2. You have been diagnosed or exposed to someone with COVID-19 (coronavirus).
  3. You have traveled by air or have been to one of the high-risk areas as defined by the Center for Disease Control within the last 14 days.

If you have an urgent orthopedic injury and any of these situations apply to you, please visit an emergency department. If you questions about whether you are able to be seen at the injury clinic, please call 314-514-1642.

*What is an URGENT condition?
An urgent condition means if evaluation and treatment is delayed, the condition may become worse. Chronic conditions, including chronic pain, are often non-urgent. If there is a question about the urgency of your condition, you may be offered an initial virtual visit.
