Microvascular epiphyseal plate transplantation. (He is currently evaluating techniques of cold preservation of epiphyseal plates following harvest.)
Background
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Dr. Boyer completed high school and medical school in Toronto, Ontario. He graduated first in his medical school class and completed his orthopedic surgery residency as 'Most Outstanding Graduate'. After completing two hand surgical fellowships, he has made St. Louis and Washington University his home since 1997.
