Martin Boyer, MD, Honored as a Clinical Teacher of the Year

Students at Washington University School of Medicine honored faculty and residents at the 2016-2017 Distinguished Service Teaching Awards ceremony, an event that has taken place annually since 1991. The ceremony was held on Tuesday, October 24 at the Eric P. Newman Education Center on the Washington University Medical Campus. 

Martin Boyer, MD, the Carol B. and Jerome T. Loeb Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, was among those honored, receiving an award for Clinical Teacher of the Year. This is the 15th time Dr. Boyer has been recognized with this honor. Dr. Boyer is the Co-Chief of the Hand and Microsurgery service, and the Director of 3rd and 4th year medical school education. In his clinical practice, he specializes in reconstructive microsurgery and hand surgery.
