Compensation and benefits
Compensation: Stipend levels are determined annually by the Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University Graduate Medical Education (GME) Consortium. For the 2025-2026 academic year, the PGY-6 stipend is approximately $86,152 plus benefits.
Appointment: All newly appointed clinical fellows receive a memo of appointment and a letter of agreement, which must be signed and returned to the GME office. This letter serves as both the official offer and acceptance of employment terms as outlined by Washington University School of Medicine.
How to apply
For the 2027-2028 academic year, the fellowship will participate in the Musculoskeletal Oncology Fellowship Match administered by SF Match. Applicants should:
- Complete online registration (opens approximately July 1)
- Use the Central Application Service (mandatory for applicants and programs)
- Submit all required documents as posted
The application deadline is November 1. Applications received after this date will be reviewed at the discretion of the fellowship director. Early applications are encouraged.
