What is a shared medical appointment?
Shared medical appointments are medical office visits led by a medical provider and conducted in a group setting. These visits function to manage symptoms or conditions among multiple people with similar goals. The purpose is to provide treatment, peer support, and information from multiple disciplines.
What can I expect from participating in a shared medical appointment?
Your shared medical appointment will include a one-hour group session (in-person or virtual) that’s led by clinicians from the Living Well Center, and an individual appointment with Mollie Semmer, PA, who is board-certified in lifestyle medicine.
