Members of the Washington University Orthopedics Multidisciplinary Complex Nerve Clinic organized a team to run in the United Brachial Plexus Network (UBPN) Virtual 5K in support of Brachial Plexus Injury Awareness Week.
Last Sunday, Christopher Dy, MD, MPH, FACS, and David Brogan, MD, MSc, and three hand surgery fellows, Rita Baumgartner, MD, Steven T. Lanier, MD, and Jeffrey G. Stepan, MD, were joined by their families to participate in this event. Over 120 participants nationwide walked or ran the 3.1 miles in this virtual 5K, to help raise awareness of brachial plexus injuries.
