Graduation celebrations to recognize the outstanding efforts of our orthopaedic surgery chief residents began on Thursday, June 13, 2019, with a department golf tournament for residents, fellows, faculty and alumni. The tournament was held at Top Golf in Chesterfield, MO.
On Friday, June 14, 2019, the J. Albert Key Distinguished Lectureship Alumni Day featured guest speaker Charles L. Saltzman, MD, Chair of the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Utah, who gave a presentation entitled “Orthopaedic Certification: Past, Present and Future”. Chief residents also presented their research papers and gave a brief overview of their international trips. Additionally, a number of residents and faculty were honored with awards:

The day concluded with dinner and ceremonies held at Bissinger’s Caramel Room, where residents gathered with their families and colleagues to celebrate their accomplishments. The evening ended with the chief residents presenting the following awards:
