Washington University Orthopedics has access to a number of related programs and services at Washington University Medical Center that benefit our orthopedic patients.
The Diabetic Center and Wound Ostomy Center at Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Hospital offer care for our patients who have foot problems related to diabetes. Through the Center, patients can receive education on prevention, pedorthic and orthotic management, salvage options, amputations, as well as learn state-of-the-art wound management. The Center works collaboratively with our physicians and surgeons to optimize care for diabetic patients with foot problems.
