Externship Program: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine Elective (M96-816)

Interested applicants must first apply to the department. Students should email a CV, an unofficial medical school transcript, and a photo to Tracy Line, Education Coordinator. Only accepted students will submit their application to VSLO. Applications submitted without prior approval from the department will be denied. 

The rotation dates for 2026 are:

June 7, 2027 – July 4, 2027
July 5, 2027 – August 1, 2027
August 2, 2027 – August 29, 2027
August 30, 2027 – September 26, 2027
September 27, 2027 – October 24, 2027
October 25, 2027 – November 21, 2027

Medical students will rotate at satellite locations in the St. Louis area and will be required to have access to their own transportation.
