Where are you from?
Collinsville, IL. We have the world's largest Ketchup bottle!
How do you support the department?
I am Dr. Hunt's medical assistant and one of the clinical supervisors in PM&R. I assist patients and staff with scheduling appointments, PRP injections, and triage patients both in the office and over the phone, among other responsibilities.
What aspect of your work do you find most interesting and rewarding?
I find my job incredibly rewarding because I have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of my patients. I love building strong connections with my patients and want them to feel comfortable and confident that we are here for them whenever they need us. I love my patients!
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Shopping of course! My favorite places to shop are antique stores, Marshalls, HomeGoods and Hobby Lobby. I also enjoy spending time with my 10- year-old son, Eli.
What's the best advice you ever received?
A negative mind will never give you a positive life.
If you weren't in healthcare, what would you like to be doing?
I would probably be a hairdresser. I am always putting new color in my hair.
Anything else you'd like to share?
My 10 year old son is my entire world- He's the sweetest! I have a dog, named Tank and a cat named Asthma.
