My mother worked for WashU Medicine Oncology in Medical Records (a long time ago), and I came to work with her and really enjoyed the atmosphere; I've always wanted to work here since!

I am the Medical Assistant for Orthopedic Oncology. I work alongside three surgeons who are amazing teachers and healthcare professionals.
What aspect of your work do you find most interesting and rewarding?
Being able to work with patients who have these diseases is hard, but rewarding when you see them walk again or get their life back – it's the best feeling and being a part of that is huge for me.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
I love to hang out with my family. Watch movies, going fishing, road trips or just playing board games.
What's the best advice you ever received?
The best advise is to, "Be mindful of all things."
If you weren't in healthcare, what would you like to be doing?
I would be an author. I would write murder mysteries and fantasy novels.
