Meet Angela Taylor
Billing and Scheduling Associate
Where are you from?
I am St. Louis born and raised. I graduated from University City High School, class of 1982. There, I met my wonderful, amazing spouse, Gerald Taylor, and we've been married for 10 years.
What brought you to Washington University Orthopedics?
I was drawn to WashU Ortho for opportunity and our reputation.
How do you support the department?
As a billing and scheduling associate, I try to make every patient interaction a WOW moment.
What aspect of your work do you find most interesting and rewarding?
It's rewarding to be able to assist patients and provide the best help I can.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, most of all my two lovely grandchildren, Brooklin and Kobi. I also like to bike ride, walk, and travel.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Try to make the patient experience the best I can while taking calls, being mindful they could be in pain and I have the opportunity to make them smile.
If you weren't in healthcare, what would you like to be doing?
If I was not in healthcare, I would be working with children with special needs.
