Nathan Olafsen, MD, a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist and an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine, was recently accepted into the Teaching Scholars Program at Washington University. The Teaching Scholars Program is a 12-month certificate program designed to develop future leaders in healthcare education, with a focus on core components of educational scholarship and curriculum development.
Aside from caring for patients, Dr. Olafsen has a strong interest and involvement in medical education, currently serving as the Associate Director of Medical Student Education for the Department of Orthopedics. We congratulate Dr. Olafsen as he continues his mission towards providing exceptional education in orthopedics and musculoskeletal diseases.
