Christi joined the Pediatric and Adolescent Orthopedic Surgery Department in 2004 as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Prior to working at Washington University Orthopedics, Christi worked as an RN in the neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric intensive care unit and emergency department. After obtaining her degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, she then worked for 10 years in a primary care setting before transitioning to Orthopedics. She sees patients in an outpatient setting, and has special interests in the acute and chronic care of infants, children and adolescents with an emphasis on fracture care, spinal deformities and developmental concerns, including treatment of flat feet, in-toeing, knock knees and bow legs. She also has an interest in precepting for Pediatric Nurse Practitioner students. Christi is recognized as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the MO State Board of Nursing.
