Dr. Calfee received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Calfee completed his residency at Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI, where he also completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma. In addition, Dr. Calfee completed a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.

Research Interests

Dr. Calfee is actively involved in clinical research. He has investigated the use of patient-reported health measures in upper-extremity surgery. He continues research into optimizing treatment for distal radius fractures with a focus on the older adult with wrist fractures.

Background

Dr. Calfee received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Calfee completed his residency at Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI, where he also completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma. In addition, Dr. Calfee completed a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.
