The Washington University Orthopedic Pediatric and Adolescent Spine Surgery Service at St. Louis Children’s Hospital is a leader in the treatment of pediatric spinal deformities including scoliosis, kyphosis, and spondylolisthesis. Our team utilizes innovative surgical and non-surgical techniques to care for the growing spine and develop individualized treatment based on the based on the specific anomaly, as well as the child’s age and condition. Early spine evaluations are recommended.

Patients travel from around the nation to see our spine specialists. We treat over 8,000 pediatric and adolescent spine conditions each year. Additionally, over two-thirds of all pediatric and adolescent spine patients in the region are treated by our practice.
