Meet Kimberly Keeler
Billing and Scheduling Associate
Where are you from? 
I am from a small town in Michigan named Albion. I moved down to Illinois in 2021.
What brought you to WashU Medicine Orthopedics?
I was looking for a new job that fit my lifestyle better and allowed me to spend more time with my family. Now that I'm able to work from home, it's nice to get to spend more time with them after work.
How do you support the department?
I work in the Orthopedic Call Center therefore my team and I take all of the calls that come into the department and triage/schedule them accordingly or get them to the right person!
What aspect of your work do you find most interesting and rewarding?
I find it most rewarding to celebrate patients with their successful obstacles that they have overcome when starting with us as well as talking to all types of patients!
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Traveling with my family and dirt track racing.
What's the best advice you ever received?
It's okay to move different.
If you weren't in healthcare, what would you like to be doing?
If I weren't in healthcare, i would say I would be teaching at a middle school, and during the summers traveling often! I love traveling!
