Hand surgeons Charles Goldfarb, MD, Lindley Wall, MD, and Ryan Calfee, MD, MSc, were recently honored at the annual meeting of the Pediatric Hand Study Group in Philadelphia with the 2017 Paul R. Manske Award for the Best Congenital Research Manuscript of 2016.
This award was given for their manuscript on “Synpolydactyly of the Hand: A Radiographic Classification”, which is an uncommon birth deformity of the hand. Their work on the manuscript was part of a multicenter effort, and included contributions from physicians in Boston and Dallas.
