Dr. Tatman has clinical interests in orthopedic trauma, and specializes in treating fractures of the pelvis, upper extremity, and lower extremity. Her clinical practice also includes caring for fractures in the polytrauma patient and management of post-traumatic problems including nonunions, malunions, and osteomyelitis.

Dr. Tatman's research interests lie in the clinical outcomes of trauma patients and compartment syndrome.

Background

Dr. Tatman earned her medical degree from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and then was selected for a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She then went on to complete an orthopedic trauma fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
