Heidi Prather receives the 2014 American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Distinguished Member Award

Heidi Prather, DO, has been selected as the recipient of the 2014 American Academy of Physical Medicine (AAPM&R) and Rehabilitation Distinguished Member Award. 

The Distinguished Member Award was established in 1994 to honor AAPM&R members who have provided invaluable service to the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) primarily through participation in PM&R-related organizations other than the Academy.

Dr. Prather's clinical practice clinical interests include the conservative management of all musculoskeletal conditions with a special interest in young adult hip, spine, female athletes, and women’s health. This includes pregnancy related problems and other physiological changes such as osteoporosis, as they occur throughout the life cycle. Dr. Prather is a team member of the Medical Program for Performing Artists, focusing on musculoskeletal disorders for artists.
