Rick Wright, MD, elected to Board of Directors of American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine

Dr. Rick Wright has been elected lay delegate to the Board of Directors of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). Since it’s formation in 1972, the AOSSM has been a world leader in sports medicine education, research, communication, and fellowship. The AOSSM is an international organization comprised of orthopaedic surgeons and other allied health professionals dedicated to sports medicine.

Dr. Wright is the Jerome J. Gilden Distinguished Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine, specializing in sports medicine. Dr. Wright is Co-Chief of the Sports Medicine Service and director of the orthopedic residency program at Washington University. Dr. Wright is the Head Team Physician for the St. Louis Blues.
