Background

Richard received his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medical Studies from Oklahoma State University. He then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, as well as a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic. He then worked as a Chiropractic Physician specializing in rehabilitation care for patients with musculoskeletal disorders. More recently, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wayland Baptist University, then received a Masters of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Middle Tennessee State University.

Currently, Richard is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Washington University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He focuses on the non-operative management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. Richard brings a vast amount of knowledge to his current position, having served patients in various settings including Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology and Neurosurgery. Richard is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
