Research Interests

Dr. Boyer has research interests in the microvascular transplantation of epiphyseal plates.

Clinical Interests

Reconstructive microsurgery of upper and lower extremities following trauma, tumor, or infection.

Background

Born in Montréal, Québec, Dr. Boyer completed high school and medical school in Toronto, Ontario. He graduated first in his medical school class and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Toronto as 'Most Outstanding Graduate'. After completing two hand surgical fellowships, he has made St. Louis and Washington University his home since 1997.
