Dr. Buchowski is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Neurological Surgery and serves as the Director of the Center for Spinal Tumors. He specializes in oncologic and degenerative disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, including spinal stenosis, spine trauma, and spinal deformity/scoliosis. Dr. Buchowski earned his medical degree and served his residency in orthopedic surgery (including serving as Administrative Chief Resident) at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. He also earned a master’s of science degree from Yale University. Dr. Buchowski completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Washington University School of Medicine prior to joining Washington University Orthopedics.
