Overview

No matter what type of hand and wrist problem a patient may have, specialists with the Washington University Orthopedics Hand Center are available to provide a comprehensive evaluation and customized treatment plan. The center, with satellite offices in Chesterfield and in the Central West End at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, features a team of physicians, therapists and nurses with experience and expertise in a wide range of hand conditions, including:

  • Congenital pediatric hand deformities
  • Nerve entrapment syndromes
    Carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, radial tunnel syndrome
  • Dupuytren’s Contracture
  • Fractures and dislocations of wrist, hand, distal radius, and distal ulna
  • Ganglion cysts and tumors of the hand and wrist
  • Hand problems resulting from stroke, cerebral palsy, or spinal cord injury
