Background
Dr. La Bore earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine where he also served as chief resident. Prior to joining the faculty at Washington University, he served as an officer with the US Army in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at Brook Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
In August of 2004, Dr. LaBore joined Heidi Prather, DO and John P. Metzler, MD on the Washington University Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service.
His practice focuses on the nonoperative care of musculoskeletal injuries, with special interests in shoulder and hip girdle injuries, sports injuries, spinal disorders and spine and peripheral joint injections, electrodiagnostic consultation and the therapeutic, non-operative management of pain.
